1. Candidate should have qualified in NATA examination and having valid NATA Score.
2. No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

(The above eligiblity criteria is subject to amendment as per the guidelines issued by the Council of Architecture (CoA) and Government of Gujarat from time to time )

For NRI / NRI Sponsored Category

• FOR NON-RESIDENT INDIANS (NRI) CANDIDATE
  1. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination abroad or candidate who have passed qualifying examination from the school located in India and having NRI status.
  2. Candidate must have valid NATA score of NATA examination.
  3. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is mandatorily required from the school authority.
  4. NRI candidate will have to produce equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
• FOR NRI SPONSORED CANDIDATE
  1. Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination and should have valid NATA Score. The admission will be granted based on the merit list prepared on the basis of equal weightage of qualifying exam and valid NATA score only.
  2. Candidate will have to produce a sponsorship letter (as prescribed on institute’s website “Affidavit”) from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire duration of degree programme.
  3. Documentary evidence (like residence proof, visa stamp entry in passport, utility bills etc.) of Sponsor having NRI Status must also be produced.
  4. In case, Letter Grade / Performance Index or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is mandatorily required from the school authority.
• FOLLOWING CATEGORIES OF PEOPLE WILL BE CONSIDERED AS NRI FOR ADMISSION TO B. ARCH. PROGRAMMES.
  1. Passport of a candidate indicating his/her status as ‘Non Resident Indian’.
  2. Certificates of Non Resident Indian issued by the Indian Embassy/Indian Consulate of the Country where the Non Resident Indian is residing.
  3. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders.
  4. Persons who have studied outside India and have passed either 10th or 12th standard and passed the NATA examination from any system of education subject to the eligibility conditions and have NRI status.

We intimate the eligible applicants for online / offline counselling for admission in the order of merit. The candidature of the applicants is thoroughly scrutinized according to the eligiblity criteria and after that the provosional admission is offered. The admission is confirmed after the payment of fees and issuance of the final eligiblity certificate from the Nirma University.

Tuition Fees

To encourage the meritorious students and help the needy students the university offers merit cum means scholarships to the B.Arch students.

Important note: The student shall be entitled to get benefit of scholarship under any one of the above mentioned categories subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria.
The students who are getting 'Mukhymantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana' (MYSY) scholarship are not eligible for any other scholarships.

Eligibility criteria for continuation/ renewal of the scholarship

Continuation/Renewal of the Scholarship in the subsequent years will be as per university policy which may differ on a semester/year basis. However, it will be subject to meeting of minimum eligibility criteria, as under:

1. During the entire previous year, the conduct of the student should be good.
2. No acts or omission which results in unlawful behavior, malafide intention maligning the University brand in digital, print, or social media, promoting, supporting or sharing any content which is against the University brand.
3. No disciplinary action was initiated/sanctioned against the student under the student handbook or compliance with norms as prescribed by the University.
4. The student should maintain merit and get CGPA of 7.0 and above and should have passed all courses of study in the first attempt in the previous year, subject to following condition:
1. For Core courses
   At the time of renewing the scholarship for Semester-Ill, if a student is having ‘IF’ in only one course of 1st year, then he/she should be provided 50% scholarship for Semester-Ill. Further, if the student clears all the courses including backlog at the end of Semester-Ill, then the scholarship of Semester- IV will be given along with the arrears of Semester-Ill,
2. For Supplementary courses
   At the time of renewing the scholarship in the beginning of next semester, if a student is having ‘IF’ in only one supplementary course, then he/she shall be provided the scholarship. However, the same will be considered only for 2 times during the entire duration of programme.
5. The student is not caught in unfair means in any of the examinations conducted either by the Institute or University
6. The student should maintain minimum attendance criteria except the absence with genuine reasons for which the permission of the Hol was obtained particularly in the case of illness
7. It will be the responsibility of the applicant to check the eligibility before submitting application. In case the applicant is found non-eligible at any stage, his/her submission or scholarship will be disqualified
