The course of study for B.Pharm is extended over a period of eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricula and syllabi for the program is prescribed from time to time by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) is four years (eight semesters) under-graduate program approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for 100 Seats intake. Institute follows norms of Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat State for admission process. As per government norms, additional Seats are being filled as Supernumerary Seats by ACPC for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS).

• 85 Seats (plus supernumerary seats of TFWS + EWS as per allocation by ACPC) are being admitted by ACPC, Gujarat state. Candidates need to apply to ACPC, Gujarat State (https://acpc.gujarat.gov.in/degree-diploma-pharmacy) for a centralized admission process.

• 15 Seats are admitted by Institute as NRI category (NRI self / NRI ward / NRI sponsored) as per norms of ACPC.

First year B. Pharm

Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

B. Pharm lateral entry (to third semester)

A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Admission by ACPC, Gujarat State

• 85 Seats (plus supernumerary seats of TFWS + EWS as per allocation by ACPC) are being admitted by ACPC, Gujarat state. Candidates need to apply to ACPC, Gujarat State (https://acpc.gujarat.gov.in/degree-diploma-pharmacy) for a centralized admission process.
• Eligible candidates would be allotted admission as per merit prepared considering results of qualifying exam (12th Science Board exam) and GUJCET of current year.
• If the seats remained vacant after completion of admission process by ACPC (i.e. after final round of allotment), then admission on vacant seats would be processed directly by Institute as per norms and instructions by ACPC.

Management Seat (NRI Category)

• 15 Seats are admitted by Institute as NRI category (NRI self / NRI ward / NRI sponsored) as per norms of ACPC
• Interested candidate fulfilling eligibility criteria may apply to Institute within a stipulated time period as per ACPC norms by payment of application process fees.
• The additional documents required to be submitted includes the copy of passport (and visa) as a proof for NRI, and the notarized affidavit undertaking from sponsor as per standard format.
• Eligible candidates would be admitted as per inter-se merit list of applications received for NRI category admission.

NRI self / NRI ward

• The merit list will be prepared considering percentage obtained in theory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology subject of Std.12th Science or equivalent examination

NRI-Sponsored

The merit list will be prepared considering the following weightage:

• 50% weightage of NEET/JEE (Main)/GUJCET examination
• 50% weightage of last qualifying (12th standard) examination (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics Theory percentile)

Tuition Fees

Nirma University provides two types of scholarships to the students,
(i) Based on Merit only,
(ii) Merit-cum-Means
Institute also supports applicant by providing necessary documents for obtaining scholarships from any Govt/NGO.

ACPC Seats (85%)

85 Seats are filled by the ACPC, Gujarat state. The candidate needs to apply to the ACPC for the centralised admission process. Eligible candidates would be allotted admission as per the merit prepared considering the results of the qualifying exam (12^th board exam) and GUJCET of the current year.

If the seats remain vacant after completion of the admission process by the ACPC (i.e., after the final round of allotment), then admissions of vacant seats would be processed directly by the Institute as per the norms and instructions of the ACPC.

NRI / NRI Sponsored Category (15%)

15 Seats are filled by the Institute as NRI category (NRI self / NRI ward / NRI sponsored). The interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may apply through an online form from the Institute website within a stipulated time period by payment of application process fees.

• INR 1200/- [non-refundable]) for the candidate appeared in 12^thboard examination from the school located outside the State of Gujarat (including Daman and Diu or Dadra Nagar Haveli (UT).

Note: If any candidate is outside the state of Gujarat and paid the application form fee INR 350/-, his/her application form will be disqualified.

2. Mode of Payment :

Payment must be made online through Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking/UPI.

3. Preparing of Merit List :

NRI :
The merit list will be prepared considering percentage obtained in theory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and/or Biology subject of Std.12_thScience or equivalent examination.
NRI-Sponsored :
The merit list will be prepared considering the following weightage:


• 50% weightage of NEET/JEE (Main)/GUJCET examination
• 50% weightage of last qualifying (12^thstandard) examination (Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Mathematics Theory percentile)
• Merit list will be prepared as per norms and the students will be informed.
4. Following categories of people will be considered as NRI :
   • Passport of a candidate indicating his/her status as ‘Non-Resident Indian’.
   • Certificates of Non-Resident Indian issued by the Indian Embassy/Indian Consulate of the Country where the Non-Resident Indian is residing.
   • Persons who have studied outside India and have passed qualifying examination (or must be appearing for in 2025 & result will be declared before the counseling date) or equivalent from any system of education subject to the eligibility conditions and have NRI status.
