To accommodate the needs of working professionals, the classes in the programme are scheduled on Sundays from 09:00AM and 05:00PM.

Over and above 15% (Supernumerary) seats are allocated to following two categories:
Category 1: Candidates whose parents are currently working in Gulf countries or South-east Asia can apply under CIWGC-SEA Supernumerary category that has 5% seats reserved. The students must hold Indian passports, and should have passed qualifying exams either from India or outside of India.
Category 2: Foreign Nationals having non-Indian passports (FN), OR foreign students having non-Indian passport and also having the OCI or PIO card (OCI/PIO) can apply under OCI/PIO/FN Supernumerary category that has 10% seats reserved. The students from SAARC countries can apply under the FN category, however they will be charged the fees as per the Indian National regular fees.

A three-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by Nirma University as eligible for Postgraduate studies and a minimum of two years of work experience as on 31st July, 2025. Only post-degree (graduation) work experience will be taken into consideration for deciding the work experience. Work experience will be counted from the date of issue of the final year graduation mark sheet.

  • Step 1: Shortlisting Criteria
    • Preliminary Shortlisting: Based on CAT or GMAT scores, candidates are shortlisted for the next stage.
    • IMNU also considers the applicant’s academic performance, work experience, and extracurricular achievements.
    • Cut-off Percentiles (2024): MBA Program: 81 percentile.
  • Step 2: Selection Process
    • Theme Development & Presentation (TDP): Candidates present their analysis and ideas on a given theme, assessing their creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills
    • Personal Interview (PI): To evaluate aspects such as self-awareness, leadership potential, social awareness, and suitability for management education
  • Step 3: Final Selection
    • Evaluation Criteria: CAT/GMAT score.
    • Performance in TDP and PI.
    • Academic performance and relevant work experience.
    • Overall profile and diversity factors.
    The final merit list is prepared based on a composite score of the above parameters
  • Step 4: Admission Offer
  • Selected candidates receive admission offers through their registered email IDs. Candidates must confirm their admission by paying the required fee within the stipulated deadline

These scholarships aim to support meritorious and economically deserving students in their academic pursuits. The following are the different types of scholarship awarded to students based on their eligibility criteria:

Eligibility criteria for continuation/ renewal of the scholarship
Continuation/Renewal of the Scholarship in the subsequent years will be as per the University policy which may differ on a semester/year basis. However, it will be subject to meeting of minimum eligibility criteria, as under:

  1. During the entire previous year, the conduct of the student should be good
  2. No acts or omission which results in unlawful behavior, malafide intention maligning the University brand in digital, print, or social media, promoting, supporting or sharing any content which is against the University brand
  3. No disciplinary action was initiated/sanctioned against the student under the student handbook or compliance with norms as prescribed by the University
  4. The student should maintain merit and get CGPA of 7.0 and above and should have passed all courses of study in the first attempt in the previous year
  5. The student is not caught in unfair means in any of the examinations conducted either by the Institute or University
  6. The student should maintain minimum attendance criteria except the absence with genuine reasons for which the permission of the Ho I was obtained particularly in the case of illness
  7. It will be the responsibility of the applicant to check the eligibility before submitting application. In case the applicant is found non-eligible at any stage, his/her submission or scholarship will be disqualified

The students admitted under Non-Resident Indian (NRI)/NRI sponsored, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Nationals (FN) or Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) category are not be eligible for the above scholarships.
The President will have power to make any exception in the above rules framed. However, in case of doubt in interpretation of any clause, the decision of the President will be final.

Vidya Lakshmi is a first of its kind portal for students seeking Education Loan. This portal has been developed under the guidance of the Department of Financial Services, (Ministry of Finance), the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and the Indian Banks Association (IBA). The portal has been developed and being maintained by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. Students can view, apply and track the education loan applications to banks anytime, anywhere by accessing the portal. The portal also provides linkages to National Scholarship Portal.

At the end of the 3rd Term, all students opting for Entrepreneurship Specializations are required to do summer project/internship for 4-5 weeks with an Industrial, Business or Service organization. The conditions of successfully completing the Programme shall not be deemed to have been satisfied unless a student does summer project/internship. Each student shall be required to submit a project report to the Institute for the work undertaken by him/her during this period within two weeks of the commencement of the 4th Term. He/she will also have to submit a copy of the report to the organization guide. The report will be assessed by both the organization guide and internal advisor in terms of Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.
