A three-year bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.

Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelors Degree can also apply provided they furnish the proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria within 3 months of them joining the programme. They should have appeared in all the examinations of their graduation by the time of commencement of the programme. The candidates failing to meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be asked to withdraw from the programme. The tuition fee paid by such candidates will be forfeited unless such vacant seats are filled by other candidates.

  • Step 1: Entrance Test
  • The applicants are required to appear in the Entrance Test to be conducted by the Institute of Management through offline mode.
  • Step 2: Entrance Test Structure
  • Duration of this test will be 120 minutes and have four Sections of 30 questions each.
    • Logic & Data Interpretation
    • Logic & Data Interpretation : 30 Questions (30 Marks)
    • Quantitative Skills: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
    • Verbal Skills: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
    • General Knowledge: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
  • Step 3: Final Selection
  • The final selection for admission to the programme would be based on the candidate’s performance in the Entrance Test, Personal Interview & Communication Test. The following weightage will be given to each component:
    • Entrance Test: 60%
    • Personal Interview :20%
    • Theme Development & Presentation: 10%
    • Past Academic Performance: 10%
    An additional score of 5 points shall be given for the candidates who belong to Business Families.

*While computing the score of the Academic Performance, the marks obtained in SSC, HSC and Graduation shall be taken into account with 20% weightage for SSC marks, 30% weightage for HSC marks, 50% weightage for graduation marks (only the aggregate marks obtained in the examinations upto pre-final year will be considered for computing the merit, for example in case of a 3 year degree programme first and second year examinations marks will be counted and in case a four year degree programme first, second and third year examinations’ marks will be counted)..

We are located in Ahmedabad and do not have other campus.

The University has separate on-campus hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are three hostels for boys and one for girls with a total capacity of 2100 beds.

Nirma University has an extensive library system, comprising of multidisciplinary collection of resources, equipped with state-of-the-art technology which is now named as NIMA Knowledge Centre. The programme offers specialization in two areas namely Family Business Management and Entrepreneurship in the second year.

At the end of the 3rd Term, all students opting for Entrepreneurship Specializations are required to do summer project/internship for 4-5 weeks with an Industrial, Business or Service organization. The conditions of successfully completing the Programme shall not be deemed to have been satisfied unless a student does summer project/internship. Each student shall be required to submit a project report to the Institute for the work undertaken by him/her during this period within two weeks of the commencement of the 4th Term. He/she will also have to submit a copy of the report to the organization guide. The report will be assessed by both the organization guide and internal advisor in terms of Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.
